What to see in London’s Sky Garden
The Sky Garden is on the top three floors of one of London’s skyscrapers. The lift will take us to the 35th floor, but the public space is distributed over three floors.
Inside this space are several restaurants and cafes, and there is also a terrace overlooking the River Thames that will be open depending on the weather outside.
It is one of the places we recommend visiting if you are visiting London for a few days, but you must book before you go. It’s an excellent place to go with children, but children are not allowed in the evenings.

Booking a free Sky Garden visit
Entry to Sky Garden during public visiting hours is free, but free tickets are limited. Book through the official booking page, which releases dates in advance. The venue may accept walk-ins when space allows, but a walk-in place is never guaranteed. Check your booking confirmation and current security information before you travel.

Public visiting hours can change for private events and maintenance. Check the official opening information and closure notices for your date.
Eating and drinking at Sky Garden
The bars and restaurants have their own booking, age and opening arrangements. If you want a meal or evening drinks, check the current venue options and reserve directly. A restaurant or bar booking should not be treated as a guaranteed free public-visit ticket.

Sky Garden and The View from The Shard offer different ways to see London from above. Sky Garden has limited free public tickets; The View from The Shard is a ticketed viewing attraction. Choose by the view you want, the time available and the current admission options.
