If you like our itineraries and walking routes, take a look at our free London travel app. We developed it to make it easier to follow our routes and maps while exploring the city.
The app combines concise information about London’s main sights with walking routes, places to eat and an offline map. It is available for Android phones and tablets.
Free London travel app with itineraries and offline maps
The current Google Play listing is called London: Guide, Map & Routes. Google Play shows that it was last updated on 26 May 2025.
You can download the guide and maps before your trip and use them offline. This can be useful if you want to limit mobile data use while sightseeing.
Optional GPS location
If you enable location access on your phone, the app can show your position on its map while you follow a walking route. GPS is optional; the Google Play data-safety information says the app does not collect or share user data.

Hi, we are Alberto and Amy, the London locals behind PlanTrip London. We’ve lived in London since 2010 and have spent every year since exploring the city, from its famous landmarks to the markets, pubs, parks and hidden corners most visitors never find. Over the years we became the go-to trip planners for friends and family visiting London, so we created this site to share the same first-hand, tried-and-tested advice with you. Every itinerary, tip and recommendation here comes from our own experience with our two children, so you can plan a London trip that’s easier, better value and far more memorable.
